The procedure is minimally invasive and the recovery period is very short. It recovers its natural elasticity, density and tone, while simultaneously gaining a tightening and lifting effect. It is different, as it has a high degree of smoothness, elasticity, minimum swelling after injection and longer and more natural looking results.

But, when our skin deteriorates with stress factors, the elements or even the menopause, it can affect our mood greatly, no matter how well we feel on the inside. These are dependent on a number of factors such as lifestyle, age and medical history. It is a hyaluronic acid which is in a much lower concentration than other dermal fillers which improves skin smoothness, elasticity, hydration and overall quality of the skin.
It also acts as a prevention and protection of the skin from free radicals. Both treatments offer an improvement in the hydration, elasticity and smoothness of the skin. Your practitioner will be able to advise which of these treatments is suitable for you. September There is no downtime and you can resume your normal activities after treatment. Following the treatment, you may experience slight redness, swelling or bruising at the injected area. These effects should not last for more than a week and are easily covered with mineral make up.
You should be able to notice a difference in skin quality almost immediately with optimal results being seen within the first month. Your skin will look smoother and more hydrated in a totally natural way. They all contain a built-in anaesthetic — Lidocaine — making the whole injection process a more comfortable experience.
Our medical practitioners are highly skilled and precise, so you should only feel a slight sting on your skin initially during the injection procedure. It will be held in our email system, in addition to the response we provide, for a minimum period of 12 months. Dermal fillers are a popular option at our clinic for smoothing fine lines and tell-tale wrinkles.
We aim for a natural, soft airbrushed look that gives you a refreshed appearance that everyone will notice but only you will know why. Our hands can show signs of ageing more than other parts of the body. In fact, sun-damaged, wrinkled, veiny hands can even make you look older than you really are.
The condition of our skin can easily betray our age and our lifestyle. As we get older, the hyaluronic acid content of our skin decreases and results in fine lines and wrinkles - which no amount of moisturising can resolve. Previously we shared Claire's patient testimonial and this week we wanted to give you an in-depth look at the treatment performed; a non-surgical mid-face lift.
On last night's show Channel 5; 'Ten Years Younger In Ten Days' we saw a make-over of two ladies that through general public perception aged them at least ten years older than their actual age. What Our Patients Say Trustpilot. They are hyaluronic acid-based fillers, combined with a local anaesthetic agent, formulated with their VYCROSS cross-linked technology and designed to add volume, restore contours, plus smooth out lines and wrinkles. They contain hyaluronic acid, lidocaine a topical anaesthetic and a phosphate buffer.
The inclusion of lidocaine significantly reduces pain during and after treatment, although when particularly sensitive areas such as the lips are treated, your clinician may advise the use of an additional topical anaesthetic or nerve block to ensure that the treatment is pain-free.
Hyaluronic acid is formed by streptococci bacterial fermentation. Hyaluronic acid is completely broken down by the body within approximately 12 months, leaving behind no trace of the filler. These products should not be used in people with a known intolerance to hyaluronic acid or those with a known intolerance to lidocaine.
Similarly, anyone with the following would not be a suitable candidate for treatment: - those suffering from untreated epilepsy; - those known to develop hypertrophic scarring; - pregnant or breastfeeding women - those with inflammatory skin complaints; - those with cardiac or rheumatic complaints; - or those taking anti-coagulant medication.

Add A Review.Volite is the hot new injectable on the street that promises serious hydration and skin glow. Hyaluronic acid is a water-binding molecule found naturally in our skin, but like most things, it depletes with age. Rather than slathering the ingredient on topically, Volite involves a series of injections that delivers the HA deep down into the dermis and increases hydration for skin that looks smoother and more supple for up to nine months.
I booked in with Alexis Granite at Mallucci London for the treatment.
We went through my medical history, and then I got myself comfy on her treatment bed. Now, for anyone needle-phobic, Volite may not be for you.
I started by holding an ice pack on the right side of my face while Granite prepped the needles. Once my face was suitably numb, she set to work. Volite contains low- and high-molecular weight HA, which means it can travel to different depths in the skin.
The only slight pain comes from the needle pricks. I felt surprisingly good at the halfway mark until Granite started on the left side of my face. This side was a little more painful apparently, it always is—see if you notice it next time you have your eyebrows threaded.
That extra slight pain combined with the realization that I had sat through 20 injections with another 20 to go, left me feeling a little light-headed. Granite was a total pro—she laid me down, got me some water and within minutes, I felt well enough to continue.
Afterward, you can go about your day as normal. The results take between 10 to 14 days to appear. Would I have Volite again? I would say if your main concerns are dry, dehydrated skin and fine lines, then this treatment would be absolutely ideal for you. Skin Anti-Aging. Amy Lawrenson. Hyaluronic acid, the molecule that can hold up to times its own weight in water, occurs naturally in our body but levels starts to deplete when we hit aged Given that hydrated skin means plumper skin, losses in hyaluronic acid contribute to visible ageing — which is where treatments come in.
As well as being found in endless skincare products promising a short-term hydration hit, hyaluronic acid forms the most popular type of injectable filler used to temporarily fill lines, plus volumise the skin and facial contours.
With Volite, however, the very liquid form of hyaluronic acid injected is first and foremost for the moisture. Having now treated hundreds of patients with it, Dr Chantrey calls it "a game changer". It is a dermal filler product that is used to improve skin quality, skin hydration and skin elasticity, with studies confirming these benefits. Duration of effect after a single treatment is up to 6 months, when treatment can be repeated for continued benefit.
We have seen pleasing results in a range of age groups and skin types. It is a low concentration hyaluronic acid that is introduced directly into the skin with a number of fine injections. Its purpose is to improve skin quality, skin hydration and skin elasticity. It can also improve skin smoothness and skin complexion.Clovis nm jail mugshots
The product has been developed and is made by Allergan, a company that is the global leader in medical aesthetics, and in cosmetic fillers in particular.
It is categorised as a dermal filler, although it works more on skin texture improvement than on adding volume to the face. It has been under development and trials over a number of years leading up to its launch in February Prior to launch we were fortunate enough to use the treatment in a number of our patients, and the results have been very pleasing. When face moisturiser is used on dry skin it is simply adding an artificial layer that may hydrate the skin surface and feel smooth, but adds nothing to the skin vitality or healthy functioning.
In fact over time moisturiser can weaken and thin the skin. Some skin products contain hyaluronic acid and are promoted to improve skin hydration, however very little or none will be absorbed into the skin so the benefit is very limited. By delivering hyaluronic acid directly into the skin it has been shown histologically that markers for skin hydration AQP3 and GAG are significantly increased. It is administered via a number of injections just into the skin, using a very fine needle.
Usually topical anaesthetic will be used in advance to make the treatment more comfortable. We have also seen an improvement in acne scarring. The presence of the filler material has a gentle plumping effect, but over the weeks following treatment the skin will feel smoother and appear brighter with softening of wrinkles and tightening of pores.
Topical anaesthetic cream, is usually applied first, and then multiple small droplets of product are introduced into the skin layer by injection. There is some discomfort but due to the fine needle and the presence of local anaesthetic cream this is usually well-tolerated. Typically results reach their peak after weeks.
Observations range from brighter, firmer skin, to a smoother feel to the skin, and improvement in fine wrinkles. The main side-effects are from the injections themselves, that is a little swelling for a few hours afterwards, and possible bruising.
This depends mostly on whether the skin bruises easily. Some bruising is to be expected, but this is usually minor and easily covered. Some areas such as the neck tend to bruise more readily, and thinner skin will tend to bruise more easily. Costs vary depending on the amount of product required to achieve the right result. The disadvantage with skin boosters is that 3 treatments are required to achieve a result, versus a single treatment with VOLITE, and usually the results do not last as long.
This affects the cost of treatment as well as the total downtime. The majority of patients we have treated have been pleased with the results and are planning to repeat the treatment as it becomes necessary.
